OUR HISTORY
Since 1987, Groupe PART has helped people suffering from a mental health or psychosocial disorder integrate into the job market.
Groupe Part's training and integration programs allow admitted students and workers in training to enrich themselves both personally and professionally. Adapted to the difficulties these people experience, the programs provide participants with the opportunity to complete their high school studies or learn the job of kitchen helper.
Groupe PART today brings together two organizations to promote the socio-professional integration of people struggling with a mental health or psychosocial disorder: Projets PART which offers the possibility of completing secondary studies and PART du chef which offers a training program. integration through learning the profession of kitchen helper.
What today constitutes the PART Group began its activities timidly in 1987 under the aegis of the organization COSAME (Community and mental health). In 1990, a cooking training and frozen meal production program was launched: Projets PART was born. A little later, a home delivery service for people losing their independence was set up, and a counter selling sandwiches and other ready-to-go foods was opened.
In 1997 a new corporation was created: PART du Chef which took over PART Projects for cooking training and the production of frozen meals. PART du chef , today an integration company offering a six-month paid internship leading to kitchen assistant certification, brings together the catering service, the production and delivery of frozen meals and an urban cafeteria. In addition, PART du chef operates a cafeteria in a residence for the elderly. The secondary studies program, today under the responsibility of Projets PART , made its debut during the 2000-2001 school year.
In 2005, Projets PART and PART du chef moved to the Technopôle Angus site in a new building custom-built to accommodate them. This move has the effect of providing the organization with a powerful showcase to demonstrate the essential nature of integration and its beneficial effects for the entire population. The installation at the Technopôle Angus also allowed Groupe PART to acquire premises and equipment allowing the growth of its activities and the opening of an urban cafeteria: the CaféShop . Since then, year after year, intervention programs for people struggling with a mental health or psychosocial disorder have continued to improve, the catering service offering and the variety and quality of frozen meals are constantly evolving thanks to a competent team committed to serving our mission.
